Dress A Girl is a non-profit Christian organization with the goal of letting girls around the world know that God loves them and that they are worthy of love, respect and that they deserve dignity. The girls we serve suffer from extreme poverty and the humiliation of very inadequate or ragged clothing. We demonstrate our love for them by having volunteers from Leduc, Edmonton and area meet here to sew new dresses for these needy youngsters.
How can you help? Donate cotton fabrics, trims, elastic, etc. Donate your time to help us make dresses - sewing, cutting, ironing, organizing supplies, or cash donations to buy Dress A Girl labels, panties & supplies not donated.
We meet every Thursday afternoon from 1-4 pm in the Great Room @ LAC.
